Do you wear an undershirt when you carry on the waist?

When I started CCing a year ago, I tried just put on a shirt over my G26. But quickly fell in love with the under armor type shirts as I did not like the gun sticking to my body.

I also learned in my NRA CCW class that it can be bad for the gun if you do not because your body is constantly emitting moisture onto the firearm, which can ultimately cause rust on some models and eventually cause ammo issues if you carry the same ammo long enough.

Do you wear an undershirt when you carry on the waist between your body, the firearm and the outer garnet

Yes, I wear an undershirt. I can't stand the feel of leather, Kydex, or gun, against my skin.

Almost always. My edc has a very aggressive grip that irritates my skin.

I wear a "wife beater" undershirt, between me and the horsehide of my CBST. Am I correct in assuming that you are carrying IWB with the gun contacting your skin, say it ain't so!

I never do, and sometimes it is a little uncomfortable, but it's hot enough in TX to just go with a t-shirt.

Also at the end of the day I check my carry gun over and give it a quick going over with an AP brush, to get any sweat, grime or cooties off.

I never wear an undershirt unless it's long-john uppers for arctic cold, which is rare here in the Phoenix area.

Even with my love handles, at worst I've had a little skin chafing. My sweat attacks the guns more than the guns attack my skin.

I'm a sweaty dude. I'm usually uncomfortably warm even in the winter. An undershirt would kill me.

With my C-Tac, yes. With my M-Tac, no. The leather doesn't bother me on the skin.

I always wear a t-shirt. I don't want my gun touching my skin and I don't want to sweat on my gun.

I tuck in my t-shirt when I carry itw or otw, the t-shirt keeps the sweat away from my slide.

most of the time yes... but I really need to get some tank top tees for when I don't now wear a Tshirt.

Either that or I have to change my carry rig to another IWB ie. Kholster or Supertuck, or go to another type of deeper carry.. smartholster or cel pal.
    Rats!
    It could be worse!
    I suppose
