I rather be safe then sorry.
It's better to have it when you need it then need it and dont have it.
I'd bet if you took the extensions off, the jams would go away. If you want a larger magazine for the Glock 26, use the Glock 19 or Glock 17 magazines. Add a spacer to make the grip more even.

Yes, it could be from the extensions or the way they were installed. Maybe the spring isn't seated properly etc.... I am the owner of a G27. It is pretty much my EDC because I shoot it better than any of my "smaller" guns. I have a pet peeve about adding extensions to subcompact pistols. In my opinion, if you are going to add +1 or +2 mag extensions to sub Glocks, you should have bought the compact version of your favorite caliber.
I have a +2 extension on a G17 mag and I've had no problems with it. I've probably put a couple of hundred rounds through the mag since I put the extension on it. Be aware that I used the Glock factory +2 extension, but I replaced the stock spring with a Wolf +10% power spring. I've toyed with the idea of putting an extension on one of my G26 mags, but I'm not sure what spring I should use.
I've had the best performance from my girlfriend's 26 with a +0 from Pierce. No spring issues that way. And I agree that the best extension is the next size gun. I see many customers buy the 26 or 27 and make it into a short barreled 19 or 23.

I really do not understand why getting a G26 and then put a mag extension on it. Why not get the G19 right away? .56 inch longer barrel does not make much difference when concealing the firearm.
Concerning the malfunctions; IMO you need to change the mag spring.

Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
If you must have extra rounds with a glock 26...carry spare mags.
if you use an extension increasing mag capacity....ALWAYS replace the mag spring with one designed for the extension, or as someone else mentioned...the wolf +10%
if you keep the original mag spring and load 11 or 12 on it with an extension you will be compressing the spring in a fashion its not designed for

If loose gun laws are good for criminals why do criminals support gun control?
Just bought a 27 today. I already own a 23 and the reason I bought the 27 was (1) a gun my wife is comfortable with and (2) a smaller carry gun. I will not be putting any extension on the 27 as to not make it any bigger. The gun is comfortable in my hand as is.
You want to know the truth about Glock magazine extensions? Be careful what you buy. You do know you can get a factory 12 round (OEM) magazine from Glock for the G26 right? That's my best suggestion. Most of the mag extensions for the Glock are aftermarket. With the sub-compacts I'd suggest just sticking with the +0 pinkie extension, or the +1 pinkie extension at the most. The +2 extensions were made mainly for the older style NDF (non drop free) magazines with higher capacity. I have several for my G17 that work well. Thing is, it's buyer beware on the +2 extensions, and especially for the sub-compacts, they are not going to fit well up under the grip well. Not only that, but they will have more room at the bottom for the spring to expand instead of staying perpendicular with the magazine. In other words, your mag spring will have the chance of folding over. With the +2 in the Glock sub-compacts, OEM is going to be your best bet by far over anything you buy aftermarket and add yourself. Lot of folks don't realize what they're dealing with here. You depend on a defensive weapon. Don't go wrong in your decisions as for what's better for it and accept it for what it is and work with it. Playing with fire could get you burned. I'm just saying, and I've said it before.
Adding space for one or two extra rounds requires replacement of the mag springs.
If you already have a 10 round magazine, why would you need the extra rounds?
It would seem much easier just to not to drive through that Hell's Angels' campground.I'm just sayin'...
