Has anyone ever CC'ed while ice skating?

Not sure how many of you ice skate but I've been on the ice since I was 3 years old and the rinks will be opening soon. I skate on a professional level so I'm not worried about falling but for all the years I've spent inside ice rinks nothing bad has ever happened.

I could simply leave it locked up in the car using a COM safe but I'd rather have it on me. Again, not worried about falling but it comes down to having it against not having it.

Not sure how many people will respond to this but had to ask.

FWIW, I skate like a moron, and I'd carry for the same reasons I carry everywhere else. Do I think someone's gonna mug me on the ice? Probably not. Do I think the risk goes up in the parking lot? Yes. Anyone, anyplace, anytime.

I haven't ice skated in years....unless you count trying to walk across a frozen parking lot! While I wouldn't want to try skating with it on. I would hope most commercial rinks would have rental lockers I could store it in while skating. Then rearm after I was done.

That is a problem with the rinks I skate at. No lockers.

Sorry my bad. just a few ice rinks in Florida. You are right about possible problems in the parking lot but the way I skate I would hurt myself more falling on the concealed weapon than what might happen in the parking lot.

Don't forget to bring your fishing equipment in case you shoot a hole through the ice.
A CCW is like a parachute; if you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

I prefer to live in a locale where ice skating is not a factor. I prefer warm climates, and gave up on snow and ice many years ago. Global warming is a grand idea. I wish I had thought of it myself!

I can't carry in an ice rink here in Michigan, unless it wasn't in a sports complex(outdoor or something)

I carry while skiing, I suppose skating would work too.
It’s so much easier now days, to "Love and honor" my wife, when she is armed, and shoots a better group than I do. (Till death do us part, eh?)

I'm a really good roller skater, but the few spills that I have taken have lead me to NOT carry any extra gear that I might land on!
I think I'd have to take my chances and lock it up in the truck.

Wow, now there's one I've never been asked before. With a bad knee that tends to hyper-extend and do some other unpleasant things at odd times I don't think I will be ice skating but, if I could, I would surely carry while doing it. Just like I carry while doing just about everything else. You never know when you will need to be armed. Probably unlikely that you would need it while actually skating but, while going to your vehicle, or on the way there or the way home, that seems more likely. And I am not one that really likes the idea of leaving a gun in a locked car no matter where if it is in a "nice" area.
