I have one and I carried it for a while, its heavy for a compact 1911 style 9mm but theres hardly any felt recoil. One of the most accurate guns I own and fun to shoot. Its single stack 7 round capacity and I can say I've never had a single malfunction at all. With newer more modern guns out there you can probably find something "better" but I've seen these going for $200 lately I wouldn't hesistate to buy one especially at that price.

I agree, the M43 was my first EDC carried it for about a year until switching to a 1911.
When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

If I could find one M43 for $200 I should get it right away.
