    Now the wait begins

The wife and I took our concealed carry class today. Paperwork and fingerprints are done and are ready to be dropped in the mail on Monday.

Good for you! My opinion? Forget about the application and have no expectations. My wife got hers within 60 days last year (first time). 90 days is not unheard of. My renewal took three weeks total turn around last time, and my initial application in 2001 took about a full 90 days. I even think they tell you it could take up to 120 days total. It will come when you least expect it if there are no issues. Just write it on your calendar when you sent it in, and forget about it.
What would you think if your wife got hers back first? LOL!

    A double congrats...
Getting your permits as a 'couple' is a great start.

Yeah, that was my thought as well. We were told about 60 days at least. The wife would not rub it in to badly......if she got hers back first.

filled the app and fingerprinted today as well. In St. Louis County the sheriff's are mandated by law to not exceed 45 days. I can't wait for my crossbreed holster as well!!
