    CCW carry in car in Kentucky

    I'm having trouble understanding the handgun law page for Kentucky.
    Best I can find is the gun must be in a glove box. Is that true, even with a CCW permit?

    If you have a permit from another state that has reciprocity, you may carry concealed on your person in KY in your vehicle. The part about it being in the glove box is for those "without" a permit. See www.handgunlaw.us

    You may open carry in a vehicle either in plain view OR in a glove box.
