Will have to check the Branch in our area and see if they've posted anything.

This bodes poorly to all the Wachovia customers who were looking forward to bank carry once the takeover is completed. Maybe a rogue manager? Or have they gone anti? IF they are going along with Subway and Toys R Us, all of which have suddenly been posted recently, there must be some outside force pushing the issue. They all have the same insurer?

It has to be if the Feds won't bother to protect it.

I usually go to the branch on Ray and McQueen because I do deliveries to the pool store right next to it, and I have never seen a sign on any other Wells Fargo I have been to.

Please clarify your statement. Does the bank have a no firearms allowed sign or does the bank not have any no firearms allowed signs?

The branch on Tatum/Bell has a no firearms allowed sign, it is the first no firearms allowed sign I have seen at any Wells Fargo location.

Interesting. No signs at our branch here in Lubbock. The previous president (I think they call them "managers") of our WF bank was one of my cHL students, as was his wife. To my knowledge, no banks in Lubbock have any signs posted anymore. Several did in the early years of our CHL statute, and some well-to-do depositors with CHLs fixed that.

I was in a Subway last night with my son and his family. Son and I were both armed. There were no signs, 30.06 or otherwise.
Maybe this is local to you? Or to the particular store's owner?
