    University of Texas Shooting

You know, all we will hear from the liberal media is that this NUT CASE had a Assault Rifle. BAN all Guns.

What I want to hear is that if University of Texas, not to mention all Universities allows Law abiding citizen to DEFEND themselves by allowing concealed carry. This could have been deterred.

    What say yea?

Law abiding citizens should be allowed to defend themselves, but in higher education they think they know better. A gun free zone is just that, a gun free zone. Maybe bigger, brighter signs will help deter crime....

This was one of the big points of Students for Concealed Carry on Campus. In 1966 when Charles Whitman started "sniping" from the university building tower, his rampage was brought basically to a stop by students who fetched hunting rifles from their vehicles and returned fire. Eventually three police officers and one citizen stormed his position and killed him.

    Ah, Bigger Signs.
    How about:
Welcome to the University of Texas
WARNING: The University of Texas is NOT a GUN FREE ZONE
The 21 year old girl or guy sitting next to you MAY have a CHL
They MAY be at the time guarded by God and Glock
So if you get stupid and want to do harm to them or to do harm to a fellow student or faculty you WILL be formally introduced to both.
