Very good video. Being a guy it is difficult to address the carry needs of women, due to the different clothing styles that are in fashion. I would love to show this video to others to give them an idea of the options that actually do work. Very professional.

That's sad, the video seems to be gone. At least I got my wife to watch it before faliaphoto removed it, though she's not any more interested in carrying than before.

If you go to you tube and sear for faliaphoto you will find new videos she put up. She is getting better & better with each one. Lots of hits too. Between her and Lima they are passing on some great info for men as well as women.

I've got to be honest, it was driving me nuts that I pointed the LCR at my knee, and also, I wanted to take out the part with the thigh holster and shorts... I have made a new (better) video and included a little more holster footage and info. I also took a few things out.. Here is the new vid:

Nice videos. Very well done.
I'm not sure I would rely on a thigh holster that utilizes small snaps. The snaps could fail or break.
Here's a picture of my thigh holster.
Sometimes on a clear day, I can see into the future with this spotting scope.

Not that I'm looking for a thigh holster, but what holds yours in place, Patti? Is it an exact fit that you pull up onto your leg? I'm assuming it's not velcro, which can wear out and fail.

It's made by JR Holsters.
Yes, it pulls up onto the leg. The only velcro is on the belt, and it's heavy duty velcro. So, I doubt it would fail. The retention strap has velcro.
It hasn't failed me yet.
Works great for a small gun, like an LCP.

I'm not sure what part the retention strap is. If it is something that needs pulled apart (the velcro) every time you put the rig on, or slide the gun into the holster, then it will weaken with time. I skydive and velcro is being phased out everywhere it can due to the hook and loop weakening in strength the more you use it. Unless it is that plastic stuff that needs pryed apart with a screwdriver to separate it.
My point is that I would probably trust a snap more than velcro over time, but a snap on rig would need custom fitted, whereas the vecro one would be more adjustable. Velcro does flex a bit though, which could be nice.

I've been following your blog for a while and showed a few female friends that already have a CCW the videos they loved the tips. My wife is about your age and wasn't really interested in carrying at all until I showed her your latest couple and now after going to the range and shooting my .22 snub nose she wants an LCR so I owe you a thank you!

Good job on the revised video, it's even better than the first (and I thought that one was good). Even though they are targeted for women us guys can learn something from them as well. Keep up the good work.

Add two more to the appreciative. My girlfriend who is interested in getting her CPL was amazed and enthusiastic about your videos. She's a similar size and wears similar clothes as you and was overwhelmed at the idea of trying to conceal a gun in her manner of dress. Because of your videos she's that much closer to a decision and was excited for a trip to the range yesterday to try out the Ruger LCR. She'd never heard of a thigh holster before and was amazed.
Your display of the Crossbreed in a tiny tank top convinced me that it could be the solution to some of my own carry problems so you're helpin' out some guys out there as well.
Your videos do a great job of showing what works for you and why while just as importantly showing what doesn't work for you and why.
Keep it up :)

I showed this to my girlfriend and she now has some new ideas about how to carry
If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. That's ridiculous. If I have a gun, what in the hell do I have to be paranoid for?
