IDAHO FALLS - A man was stopped at the Idaho Falls airport Tuesday for trying to go through security with a disassembled handgun. The magazine and ammunition were also found in his carry-on.
The man was detained, but no charges have been made at this time. If federal charges aren't issued, the prosecutors office says he will likely face state charges.
The identity of the man has not been released.

WOW...is right. Definitely makes one wonder. May have been his first time in the big city.

Testing or just stupid! We seem to have plenty of both types in this country now.

Not a whole lot of information in that article.
Obviously the guy doesn't watch the news much or read any newspapers...or listen to the radio.

The newspaper probably did not want to print the name for fear of racial profiling
, whether it was Joe Spud or Mohammed Al Pork. Either way "stupid is as stupid does."

I went through Idaho Falls airport last weekend after visiting family. As I was going through security I discovered I had left by drivers license in a shirt pocket at my sisters. They asked if I had any other form of I.D. and all I had was my C.P.P and a credit card. They accepted the C.P.P. and passed me on though.
