Agreed. Last time I checked criminals did not take the holidays off. In fact most step up activities during the holidays. May have to start carrying a second spare magazine for my DW.

To me it is not as much Thanksgiving, but Christmas where the scumbags B&E. Carrying my firearm takes no Holidays. Stay safe.

I'll be going to my girlfriend's parents for Thanksgiving lunch and we'll be going to my parents for Thanksgiving dinner. I will be carrying in both places.

Going to my SIL's place where they usually have dozens of folks there. I will keep mine in the car as they live so far out in the boonies I dont feel the need to have one on me BUT if I start hearing banjos that could change....

I'm lucky. The wife and I and two girls will be having Thanksgiving dinner here at home and there will be no company coming over or going out for visits anywhere. Same goes for Christmas.

I'm going to California for thanksgiving and won't be able to carry for almost a week. I look forward to seeing my family but hate not being able to carry.

I even carry in church on Christmas eve. Time to time homeless drunks stumble in and annoy worshipers and have to be escorted out by the ushers. You just never know these days.

Yes the holiday season is upon us and time to use extra precaution everywhere. Particularly in store parking lots when you are entering and leaving a store. Chances your arms are loaded down with packages and don't have a clear vision of the area (this should never happen). BG's are on the prowl at this time of year. Don't become a victim, stay alert and be safe. Happy Holidays to ALl.

Why would any particular event be a reason not to carry? I carry to church, on holidays, I was even carrying when I got married, though the wife did try to talk me out of that one unsuccessfully.

Best Thanksgiving I remember is the one only two weeks after I had LEFT the PRofCA permanently.
