myusermane let me welcome you to the forum.
R.S. 40-1379.3(1): states that; Anyone who carries and conceals a handgun in violation of any provision of this section, unless authorized to do so by another provision of the law, shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or imprisioned for not more than six months or both.

I got this information from TENNESSEE Handgun Permit Travel Guide.

The statement that Louisiana will honor another states permits as long as that state honors a Louisiana permit is the provision that would allow it. If there is no law that prohibits it then it is allowed. I will have it researched.
It would be nice to not have to get two in order to go to certain states.
Thanks again for all the info.

At any time like AZ, LA can change the rules. Think about getting the LA permit plus FL. I keep UT, FL and AZ.

ltc-usa: I agree totally. I carry AL, NH, and UT. This gives me 36 states in which I can legally carry concealed. But I got the AL first.

That's a good count dr_cmg...I am at 29 with MN resident, NH and FL non-resident. NH is an easy-to-get, fast and excellent deal for $20 that many folks overlook.

I can specificly only address Colorado , and iirc Colorado dis allows out of state permits for residents no matter the recognition of that state .. Ie If your a Colorado resident and have a Fla non res permit only , Your permit is good for every state that recognises Fla EXCEPT CO . howeaver if your another state resident with a Fla permit Colorado will cheerfully recognise it .. I suspect this is not uncommon lol
Make sure you get full value out of today , Do something worthwhile, because what you do today will cost you one day off the rest of your life .

I just waded through Kansas CCW law. If I am reading it correctly, you can carry in Kansas with a reciprocity agreement from another state but only if you are a non Resident and they never said what states Kansas has reciprocity agreements with.
