Gotta love options
Its been snowing like crazy the last day or so... and with the snow comes my larger jackets, and i picked up a new Carhartt jacket today... i picked one out that had multiple pockets both inside the jacket, as well as out. I had to run to the grocery store tonight, and decided to bring along my smith 642ct in my right front pocket in a desantis superfly, and then my 442 in a desantis nemesis in my inside lt chest pocket (which it fits and draws perfectly from), as well as my Taurus snibbie on my ankle... gotta love heavy clothes to conceal everything you could ever want. Stay warm.

Options are always good. I sort of like it when the environment dictates what I carry. The heavy clothing days are good for going heavy. I like that myself! More options with heavy clothing for sure. Just remember your options for going into the restaurant for the buffet and taking your jacket off. Been there myself. Options and modular. Try and put those two together when you get a chance. LOL!

If those Carhartts can stop a wolf attack, they could probably stop a bullet, too.
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

Are you serious, where did you hear they stopped a wolf attack? Bunker

Who knew Carhartt made a concealed carry coat? Glad you posted this as I'm in the market for a new coat. Sounds great.

Heavy clothing cuts both ways, as out inveterate associate retsupt's comment suggested. If you're carrying .38s, I would opt for heavier rather than lighter loads, preferably the 158 grain lead semi-wadcutter HPs in +P (a/k/a FBI or Chicago load).

i always carry the Speer Gold Dot short barrel rounds in 38 +P... not fun to shoot, but plenty of energy displacement. Bunker

Yes winter clothing opens up all sorts of possibilitys. I concealed 3 semiautos last week, one of them a full size 1911.
