XD Subcompact 9mm -- that was easy!

I've been loving my Crossbreed Super Tuck for my XD 40 4". I tried my XD 9 mm subcompact in there today, with the regular magazine, and it was even better. Less poky on my pudgy body. The holster is a little loose for the 9, but that's to be expected since it was designed for a 40. Crossbreed has great products, though I think i'm going to try the SmartCarry system as well with the 9. Maybe I'll just go to all subcompact models as my carry weapons.

I've found that the Supertuck is much easier to use than it first appears. I can put on my gun belt, then just clip the Supertuck right over it, tuck in my shirt and with minimal adjustment I'm good to go. Even with my girth, it works pretty well.

My galco shoulder rig works equally well on my XD 9 sub and the XD-M .40 so do you have the 18 round extended mags for your nine?

    XD sc9 and XD 40

    1. Yes, I do have the extended capacity magazines also. However, since that makes the handle stick out as much as my 4" 40 cal., I don't think I'll use them on conceal carry.

    2. I forgot what the other comment was!

Ah, yes. They are the same, but the looseness is in the trigger area, not so much the frame and slide. At least, that's what I'm seeing on my rig. Your mileage may vary.

It was really just a comment, not a complaint. And it should be pointed out, if I'm remembering correctly, that Crossbreed has a different order selection for the 9mm sc, than for the 40 cal. 4". So I'd take that to mean they make them a little differently. Great IWB holster either way!

I've carried a .45 service, .40 service and 9sc in the same Crossbreed Quickclip without issue.

Yes, you are correct they are different. It's more for the different barrel lengths than caliber related between the 9mm and .40. Your XD Service has a 4" barrel and the SC has a 3".
I have a CBST for my XDSC and it's awesome!
