Thumbs up +2. Score for my girlfriend/Score for me...

Girlfriend should be seeing her permit in the mail pretty soon. She's been planning ahead and had a few conversations with their company's lawyer who she found out some time ago is into guns, shooting, CCW, etc..

The company does not have any firearms policy and is meeting soon to clear up several things that are lacking from formal policy including any CCW language. Her and I were concerned..

He spoke with her today after a conversation with the CEO addressing the matter privately and the CEO's response was that as long as he remains the owner of the company, anyone working there is entitled to their 2A rights to the fullest. Sweet...

The lawyer added to her that his father dumped a surplus of .38 ammo on him as Obama took office. He no longer has a .38 and wants to give her a bunch of it to pass along to me. Sweet!

That is good news! Seldom come across that outlook with corporate policies these days.

Congrats, Wife got hers about 1 month ago, still working on getting it all squared away and comfortable for her, I'm thinking that the Ramora should be on the way to help finalize the carry options within 3 weeks.

"Events Management" would be an easy way to put it. She works in the office. Concerts, sports, etc. Anything that charges a fee, they are the backbone. Nation-wide, substantially sized, very liberal, while a very Mom & Pop company.

I was surprised. I've met several of the higher-ups and they are very cool people and take very good care of their workers, I just didn't expect such a firm stance on this. I couldn't be happier for her - we were holding our breath on that one..

    There's hope eh?

With such a bad reputation that gun owners seem to get in today's modern corporate world, it is certainly refreshing to see a company on the right side of the issue.

Congrats! Your girlfriend is very lucky to be working at a place she will be able to protect herself with the appropriate tools for defense.

What surprises me is why the CEO's dad decided to dump the ammo when Obama took office. Did he think that The Feds would raid his house looking to non-Micro stamped ammo?

    LOL..

    That's a creative misread

Ammo is coming from the lawyer, not the CEO. Lawyers father bought a ton during the ammo scare. Gave a bunch of it to his son (the lawyer) when the ammo scare never actually happened. Lawyer got rid of his .38 a while back. Offered ammo to us.
