Update - My Lass and her CPL

Came home from work today to find her new permit on the counter and her with a big grin on her face. It came a little earlier than I expected it - significantly less than 30 days.

She handled an armed trip to the grocery store very well and tomorrow she'll be going to work with my S&W 442 for the first time. She initially hated this gun but has grown to like it and shoots it well. I wouldn't let this pistol out of my sight for any other reason and I couldn't be happier.

Tomorrow, after work we go shopping together to investigate some other temporary holster options for her.

Congrats to you & her. Just one question - what's a temporary holster?

Kramer makes one specifically for women. Check out the "belt scabbard" section...

Temp holster probably means a cheaper one bought in a gun store until he can get a custom leather one purchased. Just my guess at what it could mean but who knows.

Temp: She's a lefty, I'm a righty - she's using my stuff and I don't have any lefty waistband holsters so we'll need to pick up something quick & cheap. Also means she's just borrowing a couple of my guns while we select something of her own. When she gets her own gun (a S&W M&P9c) she'll get a more substantial holster selection.

    Outstanding!

Great job! I am a real advocate for women who get on board and understand. She can't have you glued to her hip as a personal bodyguard all the time. My wife was very pro-gun before I even met her.

    Congrats on your wife's permit!

Thanks - Yeah, they seem to be an excellent choice. We shot the M&P9 last week and we both loved it. She's been staring/drooling over them at the shop for a while now... I'll be pretty jealous when she get's it.

    GREAT !!
Was it issued by Seattle KCS, or local PD. ?? If it was Seattle or KCS then under 30 days for issue is super time ( they do. run a "little" slow because of the paper work.
