Florida Permit Turnaround Time - Great Service
Checked automated system. License issued after 12 weeks. Not too bad considering all the holidays in December.

Check cashed today- 1/31/13.
Also, FWIW, the online status check system says that they have not begun processing my application, although the phone system says my application has been received and is being processed.
Current processing time is 8-12 weeks.

I never would have dreamed it could take 3 months, I guess I'm just spoiled here in MN, mine took like 25 days.
Finally got my nonresident Florida Permit, this Monday, Feb 4th. I put the application in the mailbox on Nov 1st, so that's 96 days for me.

I tried to print the application at Florida's site and I'm getting the following error:
We are sorry, but we are unable to process your request at this time.

ecodeError: GetTracking#

It is. After my course, I stopped by Walgreens to get my photo, then stopped by the police station to get printed. Now all I need to do is get money, notary, and mail the package.
