    Las Vegas Walmart attemted assault/robbery

Did any one else see on the news last night that a BG attempted to assault/rob some guyin a Vegas Wal Mart parking lot? News says the victim was a legal CCW and pulled a gun and fired 7 times. BG fled, still on the loose, no charges filed. Media usually misses the point, guns save lives stop crime!

Probably not a good week to be trying this in Vegas.

Fired seven times and no body laying in the parking lot?

Either there's a wounded criminal or the Wal-Mart has seven holes in it.

The report says several not seven... the op also said that it happened inside, but it happened outside, maybe some sensationalism got lost in translation

Either way there are at least 2 bullets in Las Vegas with a drooling lawyer attached to 'em.

Why? I shot my guy with two rounds and he ran for almost a mile before he collapsed and died. Shooting someone multiple times with a handgun round does not guarantee instant death.

They just tried to rob an armorer car there too

Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting during a bank robbery just west of the Strip Thursday morning.

Officer Bill Cassell, a police spokesman, said there were reports of shots being fired at a Wells Fargo bank at 4425 Spring Mountain Road about 9:00 a.m.

Police received reports that a person was shot and two suspects were being sought, but Cassell said information was preliminary and unconfirmed.

An armored car was the reported target.

"We have reports that indicate that, but there is conflicting information out there," Cassell said.

Cassell deferred further comments to the FBI. A spokesman did not return a message at 10 a.m.

Wow, just wow. I guess the guy left his getaway vehicle, I mean wheelchair, there?

Re: the original post . . good for the 57 YO victim having the tenacity and will to fight back and shoot. Appreciate the 'tone' of the report, and the LEO's comment that "if a citizen is attacked and in fear for his life he has the right to defend himself".

Actually this was the official LE response:

"North Las Vegas police urges caution when it comes to using a concealed weapon when attacked.
"We encourage people that could perhaps be victims of a crime to give up whatever property is being asked for. Most of the time, robbers are not looking to hurt you or kill you, they're looking for whatever property they may be able to rob you of," said Officer Chrissie Coon."
