Same here. I contacted S&W to see if they would convert the decocker/safety to a spring-return decocker-only. They will, for about $125 last I checked. For that money, I will do the old manual 'down-up'.

When I carry my SIG SP2022 it is de-cocked and brain safety engaged. When in revolver mode of course it's hammer down and brain safety engaged.

IMO anyone carrying a firearm cocked with the safety disengaged is asking for severe trouble, just my opinion.
Four Rugers, three SIG Sauers; my SP101 3-1/16" .357 is shown in my avatar. I like reliability.

None of the above. My DA/SA SIGs have no manual safeties for me to engage or disengage. Your poll choices do not come anywhere near covering most modern DA/SA systems.

If you are referring to passive safeties, well, my SIGs' passive safeties are always engaged, unless the trigger is pulled.

Should have been specific as to "hammered" DA/SA guns.

    Hammer down, safety off.

I carried this way with a SA/DA Ruger P94, which was my first carry. I found that I do not care for this system, though and have moved on...

I recently bought a FNX-40 which is SA/DA with decocker and safety. I've shot 200 rounds and it works great. I don't carry it though, that's for my Glocks.

Mine didn't quite fit the three choices either, as my Beretta PX4 is converted from F to G, decocker only, no safety. So I carry decocked.
