This may be old news on DC but could not find it in the search tool. Channel surfing Sunday night I ran across a program called, "I Survived" on the Biography channel. Different stories of folks who came inches from death but survived. Rather chilling. I've only seen it once. What struck me is that in one, maybe two of the incidents, the outcome might have been completely different if they were armed. If you want a nice wake up call to stay armed, even running to Circle K for milk, watch that program. We all know that but boy, do those episodes ever drive it home. The one poor girl lived in the burbs of Chicago and she had acid poured on her twice in a month (long story). She never once mentioned the option of arming herself, knowing full well she could be attacked again. Thanks, Mayor Daly. Twelve surgeries on her attractive face.
Yep, amazing show.
It gave me the push to buy a firearm and start carrying.

For me it was "I Survived" and following the case of the piece of garbage known as Joseph Duncan.
