I have avoided spending money in Kansas (pheasant hunting, deer hunting, some fishing) because of its heretofore assinine and unconstitutional stance regarding the righ to of armed self defense.

Maybe some money will trickle its way now.

It depends on the States with which they will have reciprocity or will honor....

Any word on reciprocity or honoring other states'?
I believe they said they will honor any states whose training requirements are as good as or better than theirs. I'm sure KS and CO will reciprocate.

Sure will be nice to drive to Tulsa without either disarming or going around KS next April.

LOL Larry for me its not an issue , i live south enough that 287 is the main option for anything south of me . so tx , ok ect.. allready do , but it would be nice not to disarm to go buy gas or a meal when i am on our east property lol .

Don't bother going through western Kansas. What a boring drive, lol.

I am very happy with these recent changes in laws. I am even happier Sebelius got her foolish butt veto'd. I can't wait until she's gone.

I can't wait to get my permit in Jan. I took the 8 hour class Last Saturday and applied yesterday. I also received my IWB Milt sparks holster yesterday. :)

I'm so glad to see a break there. I don't go to Kansas, but I'm glad see that it passed. Now get Hi. and D.C., and get others like Ca. to reconize the ones that I do have.

    How will Kansas.....

...handle out-of-state permits and non-resident applications, I wonder. Any advance word on that?
