I know most people don't agree with it but I'm wondering what everyone's else thoughts are on the matter. I've thought about it lately and been trying to figure out what I would store in the trunk and how I would both hide/keep it out of sight and SECURE it. Don't want it going anywhere

They have locking and non-locking models. Their CS is outstanding and helped me find a rack for a Sebring.

I really like Cabelas J.I.C. (Just in case) shotty. Its a twelve guage pump in a waterproof round carry case witha pistol grib. 12 ga. Mossberg pump I tried to find it online but I can't. Its in there shooting catalog though.
During calving season I always have a coyote gun with me but my purposes are different than most others and I don't go to town much. I hae started taking it out everynight and locking my pickup.

I like what you have going there Guantes. I may try to do something like that and then cover it with a material similar to the seat fabric so you can't see it when you open up the trunk.

That's why I like the KelTec sub2000.

I don't leave mine in the truck but if I'm going out to a more rural area I have a setup similar to Guantes with a mossberg 500 under my trucks back seat I can flip the back seat up and its on clips ready to go. You can just toss it under the seat but I'm afraid in a collision or rollover its going to come loose.

Store one? No, as I figure that's what the safe is fore. But I have carried one on longer trips to the 'wilds.'
