Now i wait!
Went to courthouse today. They tell me it will be 6 to 8 weeks usually to recieve my ccdw. Before today my wife was not sold on the idea of me carrying but she seemed almost excited after I told her how long the wait was. I guess she is starting to realize it is just as much for her and my daughters safety as it is mine.

Perhaps she will be excited enough to get one of her own. It is comforting to know that when my wife is with me, I have instant back-up.

Hopefully she will come around. Ive had her shooting a p22 and she seems to like it. She is still a little intimidated by pistols. I dont know why since she has 3 shotguns and a 30/30 that are hers.

The waiting time is the hardest part... be patient... be patient... be patient... it's just day 1.
