Watching the news this morning, and one of the reports was about 2 Americans that were shot while waiting to cross the border into (IIRC) Tijuana.

The reporter said, "...Nine millimeter shell casings were found at the scene, which is the ammunition most commonly used by Drug Cartels..."



Who writes this crap?!?

Gods, if it is a gun related incident, it's illegally obtained, from US gunrunners and gun shops/shows, automatic, and now 9mm.




Now I remember why I stopped watching the news on a regular basis.

You think that's bad,the newspsper reporters down here butcher the english language,words and sentence structure so badly that most comments on the stories relate to peiple asking when the "Monitor" starting hiring first graders as reporters,and who hired the Editor that is supposed to proof read it before we see it and after reading the story are totally confused about who did what to whom

So the crime was committed with a high power, 9MM, AK47, handgun/assault pistol, using high capacity clips, filled with armor piercing, cop killing hollow point bullets, all purchased at a Texas gun show because of the loophole.

I don't get worked up over it, its probably the truth. I understand your point of "who cares, it doesnt matter", but I'm willing to bet its the truth.

Call me crazy, but 9mm is the most common handgun cartridge world wide, and the Mexican Army does issue the Beretta 92 and Glock 17 I'm sure the cartels have no problems getting 9mm ammo and weapons.
