    New CCW permit

I just returned from my local sheriff's office with a new CCW for Pennsylvania.
It was quick and easy. Took less than 15 minutes to complete the form, run the background check, take my picture, and print the card!

A big thanks to all of you, especially, BlacknBlack, who provided guidance and encouragement.

The biggest surprise --- when I left my home to go to the sheriff's office my wife said "bring a form back me to apply"

So since last Thursday, I have purchased two handuns (Taurus Judge 45/410 and a Sig Sauer Mosquito 22), CCW permit, and membership to the NRA.

Is this a great country or what?

That's nice you're able to get it in person. I only had to wait about 6 days for mine, but we still have to mail it in.

What do you CC the Judge in? Seems like a rather large handgun for CC. Oh, and welcome!

Once again poor communication on my part. I do not plan on carrying the Judge. I have an SUV and the Judge fits very nicely in the center console. It primary location will be our bedroom!

Congrats on the permit. That was really fast, especially considering the fact some people have to wait months!

That Mosquito should make a great gun for target practice. With the cost of service caliber ammo being so high, 22lr pistols are great to have.
