Am I the only person who checks the stall before they leave it? I check it going in and again when going out, for different reasons.

Mrs. Costello is lucky she is only charged with endangering a child. That had the potential to have gone much worse.

Depending on what I am carrying, I have been known to disarm myself and lay my pistol on a tissue while taking care of business. I have never failed to rearm myself though. If you carry long enough, you can tell if something ain't right when you redress yourself.

    Toilet Lesson

    FYI and to avoid problems

Here's my toliet-technique: My rule for me: Gun stays an ALL THE TIME for me, anywhere but in my own residence.

In restroom, drop the pants holding on to holster with one hand, while sitting keep the pants at the knees, just above knee. Move the hand from holster to belt quickly while splaying the knees outward to keep the holster/belt/pants from slipping, and buckle it again in the first belt hole. Pants will stay at knee level. When standing, hold the pants up and then pull them up, reposition belt buckle to what hole you usually buckle it into.

No need to remove gun at any time.

This is irresponsible on her part. No more no less.

P.S. Hamlet, that is just to much info on how you handle your business.

I can't even imagine how this could happen to ANY one responsible. Fell out of her purse and she forgot to put it back? That is a complete lack of respect for a weapon.

Check it! I clear the stall going in you should see some of the faces on people, I've been known to clear the whole area while doing my business also.

No you aren't the only one. I do a self-inventory if I use a public restroom which, by the way, I try very hard not to do.

Some people should not be allowed to carry, drive, or vote.
