I carry my G27 in a Galco belt slide scabbard. This OWB setup snaps onto or off of my belt which is a plus for me.:kay:

5\" 1911 in a Max-Con V and single mag pouch on a 1-1/2\" Combat Dress Belt. Surefire E2e clipped in weak hand pocket.
( And I hope to God that I never need to use more than the flashlight! )

Mosquito, I'm considering purchasing a Sig P239. I'm trying to decide caliber, what made you go with .357 and is recoil different between that and .40?

    Thanks.

Friday evening I carried my Glock 23 in a Don Hume IWB under a loose black T shirt, with one spare mag. I often use a Gun Gear fanny pack which carries the Glock and a spare mag. I'm thinking of getting a Hume JIT slide for OWB under a Sportsman's vest.

CZ P-01 in an Uncle Mike's IWB "Sidekick". Perfect fit for the pistol and I can hardly tell it is there. Works good even with a tight T-shirt and it only cost $12

I hung up my .45 and transitioned to a Glock 19 out of economy. It lives in a kydex IWB at 3:30. I carry two spare mags in kydex single mag carriers at 9:30. BUG is a S&W 640 .357 with a Barami hip-grip (currently). Belt is an Aker B-21.

You might get a better answer by posing this question on its own or in the Concealed Carry Guns forum.

I find that the .357 SIG standard and .40 +P defensive loads feel about the same, with about the same flash if you are using a premium load. The .357 report is maybe a little louder than a .40 +P load. The .357 is definitely louder compared to a .40 standard load. The .357 recoil is snappier, but quicker back to target for me. In the P226/P229, the mag is the same for both calibers. In the P239, it is different and not interchangeable. Still, folks who get the P239 seem to love it. If I were you, I'd consider the P229 in .357SIG, and get the .40 drop-in barrel. The P229ST would be an excellent choice.

Sometimes a 'Travel Wrench' in back pocket.
