I do. I think you will get a better response if you make a poll instead of asking a question.

Yep, always. I have a couple of non-shooters who live in the house with me and the easiest, safest way for me to secure my weapon is to have it in my possession at all times.

Yep, But rarely "wearing" it. I just have it right with me. I can get to it just as fast on the end table as in my holster from a sitting position.

cnova - added a poll for you - even tho this has been covered before.

I carry 16/7 - which means anywhere anytime legal - that includes home where I spend much of each day.

My thinking is this - why risk that one time when you reach down for empty space - and realize ''oh heck, I forgot to put it on" - not to mention that gun is at its safest in your own close custody.

If I'm not actually wearing my pistol, it's close at hand.

Yep. :image067: It does leave an imprint on me when I fall asleep in front of the tube.

24/7. Home invasions occur a little too often. Even in nice naighborhoods. If I'm in the kitchen and the front foor gets kicked in, I don't feel like trying to run to my safe, or try to find a hidden gun, even if they are at many location throughout the house. I would rather draw my weapon from my holster and hit whoever illegally entered my home with several hollowpoints.

My handguns are either in my safe or on my person. Also have a 12g Remington on standby at night.

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!

I either carry it on my person OR have it in a smartpacker within reach. How long does it take for a BG to bust down a door? Not long. I don't think it is a good idea to assume a false sense of security inside our own homes.

I carry 18/7... A guy has got to sleep, you know...

I do not carry in the shower... but it is close at hand...

I do not carry in bed, but the CCW and the 12ga are within a body's length reach...

    YMMV, of course...
