I have Utah non-resident and New Hampshire. In addition to my Alabama it give me 36 states. Won't know for a while whether Kansas and Nebraska will be added.

I chose Utah rather than Florida because of the difference in cost. Florida provided one more state, but the cost of training and Utah permit was less than the cost of just the Florida permit. The one additional state was not worth the additional money to me.

I have PA resident but added FL non-res as it adds one or two very useful additions - the main one being VA which of course is moderately close, and OH too - tho doubt I'll test out OH until they cancel that crazy ''in visible sight'' deal in vehicles!!!.

Utah. Less expensive overall and Utah law protects my private information. It gives me all the states I want that I can get at this point. I just need Iowa to recognize out of state permits and see which out of state permits Kansas will ultimately recognize and I'll be about as happy as I can under the current system.

Utah resident. Fl non-resident because I do not trust the fickle agreements among the states that can change at any time. AZ for when I move down there.

I do not have a license from my own state I have Florida for several reasons. Political reasons, Florida is good for longer, my state puts a ccw endorsment on your Drivers license we are not required to notify LEO but it is linked to our license so they know when they get your license or run your info (I believe in don't ask don't tell), Florida is good in more states.

So ... how does this work? For an Oregon resident, for example, obtaining a Utah CHL allows that person to legally carry in Washington state? Full carry reciprocity extends to non-residents?? But, say, not in Oklahoma (which doesn't specifically acknowledge non-resident permits)?

I have a Washington state CCW non-resident permit, as I do own property up there and am there at times. Dont have a NV permit (yet), but will. Talking to the CCW detail here in Las Vegas, they are now taking up past 6 months to process your application. Not as simple as WA was, that's for sure.

NH non-resident. I think I'll try Maine next. Then maybe Utah. Florida recognizes a Utah resident-only license, so maybe I'll get a Florida one as well.

I got a FL permit when I lived in WI thinking it would be honored in MI. Boy was I wrong. So I basically wasted $117. FL gives me NM though if I ever go there. By that time I'll be a cop and won't need any stinkin' permits.
