    Any Charlotte, NC members here that can help me with some info?

    So my wife bought tickets to see a show at the Knight Theatre at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and of course I'm being dragged along.

    Of course I will have to leave my EDC in the truck as they probably sell alcohol there and they charge admission but I was wondering if it is in a decent part of town.

    I of course heard about the 60 arrests made a few weeks ago after an altercation downtown between two gangs. Just wondering if this is typical of downtown Charlotte or an isolated incident.

    This theater is one block off the main square in downtown. Police presence should be high and this area was upgraded and cleaned up several years ago. You should be good.

    Wow, NC has some strange gun laws.

    I was born there but I didn't realize it has become the New Jersey of the South.

    We're hoping to get a couple of things changed in this sitting of the house and senate. It's not bad enough to want to live in New Jersey!
