Picked up my Colorado Permit today
Got "The Call" on Monday but was out of town till last night, went in and picked it up this afternoon. Six weeks to the day. Wife is only luke warm about it at best but oh well.

You know my wife was "lukewarm" also when I got mine but after a while she has changed. If we get somewhere she doesn't like the looks of, or if we're in a not so nice part of town at get caught at a red light, she'll ask "you got your gun don't you"? After all these years I always answer the same way, "that's a silly question"

Congrats! Glad to know my great state of CO is one good guy safer now.
Be patient with the Mrs. Mine was the same way for a while. Now she is my range/training partner and gives me the "that's a silly question" response when I ask HER if she is carrying because of course she is. hehe

Congrats from the southwest corner of Colorado. Local mountain lion sightings and the occasional bear walking down the sidewalk made my wife very supportive...she even suggested it at one point.
