I should add that in PA you will rarely (if ever) see a NO FIREARMS sign posted.

You MAY go into bars & restaurants that serve alcohol.

    Be Careful In Philadelphia

I have read in the past that the police in Philadelphia will force you to the ground if you open carry! So, if you are in that area be careful to not open carry. The police have said that you will be questioned, disarmed and check on your permit to make sure it is valid. Too bad that this part of PA is so close to NY, NJ, and MD which seem to be very hostile anti-gun.

Schools only if you have an in state permit (technical minutiae federal law).

Don't even take ammo past a courthouse checkpoint, same as a gun in the law.

Some airport terminals. The Code lists three I think.

The secure areas of police stations also no no.
