This is either a argument for the requirement of training to get a permit... or an argument against it... I haven't figured out which.

On the one hand, properly trained, it would have been less likely to happen.

On the other, (depending on the weapons charges that may be filed) one less irresponsible carrier on the streets.

In either case... Stupid fool shot his tool.
    Rats!
    It could be worse!
    I suppose

Well, he might not be out of the gene pool yet.. Depends on what parts are left, he could still be a sperm-donor.

I love it: ".....non life threatening."

Well, to any current generations, but it will mean no more life out that little bugger, including future generations. So I guess, in a sense, the injury is in fact life threatening.

He probably thought that it's just my gf's little pink gun, how much harm can it do? Why was he holding his gf's gun anyway? and where was her holster?

Guys who carry pink guns probably don't contribute to the gene pool!

A PINK pistol! He was probably a drag queen (and I don't mean the prettiest girl at the races either) soooooo he got the "35 cent" sex change...
he/she should be happy now. Alls well that ends well. Anyone in the Chandler Az area, be careful of any "large women with a deep voice"...well maybe the voice is real high now?

Several years ago, my brother and another officer "escorted" a gang-banger to the ER. Seems the banger was trying to pull his .38 from a pocket of his droopy pants and triggered a round. As I recall, it happened during an attempted armed robbery. According to my brother, the bullet entered at the base of the fellow's penis, and essentially followed the urethra thereafter, exiting at the urethral orifice. Bored it out, he did.

One thing I would like to ask is why some forum members think this is funny ??

I for one dont it was an accident , the man may have been not been trained on firearm saftey.

This happens on a motorcycle forums some laugh and think its funny when one crashes .

    Just saying

I wonder if he was imitating Don Adams? Don Adams played Maxwell Smart in the 1960s -1970s series "Get Smart". He kept missing it by that much (fingers spread about 1/4 inch).

We can all assume he was untrained to carry. But who knows? On a lighter side I guess you could say he had a accidental discharge in his pants. No not funny?
