    Gave up on carrying a knife a long time ago but I still carry my SureFire Back-Up if I'll be out at night. I marked 'gun' although it depends. Military bases is a no-go and so is California so I'm rather restricted.

    Medium gun, wallet, small leatherman, defensive folder, small flashlight, keys, watch, phone.
    Speak softly, and carry a big stick.
