    That is a very strong argument for why I carry 357...

    The .357 magnum is just a violent round. It was well designed round that has stood the test of time. Much like the .45 ACP has. It's why I'm choosing to carry a .357 mag revolver. Big punch for enough penetration in winter (in most cases) for Wisconsin without being overly powerful.
