Yeah, I know ace587, But like I said, it's a 'mind set' kinda thing. If you KNOW every gun as loaded, and always think of it as loaded, there's little likelyhood (besides Murphy) that you'll do something stupid which so many folks do. You remember reading of those who say, "But I didn't think it was loaded", right after killing some kid riding a bike down the street.
Granted, all of my weapons ARE always loaded (except for cleaning). Even then, and with a different loaded firearm by my side, paranoia being what it is, I will reassemble the just cleaned firearm and once it is back together, ............... it's loaded. Even before I chamber a round, insert a magazine or fill a cylinder,................it's loaded and treated as such.

Nope. I check the chamber every time I handle it.

Nope, all mine are always loaded unless cleaning.
Exercise your 2nd amendment rights....not doing so jeopardizes that right for everyone.

Just a day ago I realized that though my LCP was loaded, I had forgotten to top off the magazine when I chambered the first round. Not too big a deal, but I rectified that situation post haste.
I don't carry a gun to look for or start a fight. I carry one to finish a fight I never wanted to be in.
