Yeah - It is just a holiday I made up.. but it is the truth, tomorrow is the first day the new law goes into effect that all Texans (well, except felons) may now bring our guns to work without fear of being fired. Well, when I say work, I mean the parking lot. Still, it is cause for celebration because I know this law will affect so many law abiding citizens in a positive way.

I bring my gun to work every day in Texas!!!!!
NOT LIVING IN FEAR, JUST READY!!!
I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness,
nor the arrow for its swiftness,
nor the warrior for his glory.
I love only that which they defend.
as ususal, Texas has to copy what Florida passed a long time ago.
Kimbers are the guns you show your friends....Glocks are the ones you show your enemies.
I would keep it youself at work .
When it came law in sunshine state some employers still thoght they where above the law that happens all the time here
I work for a small Structural Engineering firm in Raleigh NC. I am very fortunate at work in that my company is privately owned and of the 8 employees and owners five of us have our CCW and carry at work every day. Our owners encourage it. We also have a corporate membership at the local sporting clays range and shoot and hunt together frequently as a group.
When I leave the home port:
S&W 642 Airweight, Ruger SP 101, Colt Detective Spec., CZ RAMI, Kahr PM9, Kahr CW40, S&W Model 10-7, Glock 30, 19, and 26, Browning Hi Power, CZ82, Colt Commander, Dan Wesson PM7, Ruger LCP
To bad I will not be able to celebrate tomorrow. I'll be doing some structural forensic work in a Petro/Chem Plant - Luckily its only a few days out of the month.
Sadly the law does not apply to school districs. So teachers driving to and from work are still out of luck.
