I just returned from a trip to Nashville, TN, carried about 95% of the time I was there. Didn't carry while in my tuxedo. Had absolutely no problems whatsoever during the entire trip.

Welcome from Virginia. The source given to you by the others should answer your questions on TN carry, make sure you check KY requirements to, since you'll be traveling through there also.
