    Saw someone beat me to it but, there is no way that child services is going to conduct a "surprise inspection" in the middle of the night. If they do start ringing the bell and pounding on the door at 2 A.M. I think you could make a reasonable argument why you answered the door with a loaded weapon. Heard the noise got my gun from one safe, went to the other one and got my mag and ammo and came to the door to dispatch whoever the heck was banging on my door in the middle of the night.
