When was the last time that you carried Mexican, or just stuck a firearm in your belt? Not pocket carry, and without a holster.

Never have. Wouldn't even consider it to be honest. Too many chances for something bad to happen.

    Never.
I have used a ClipDraw though on a house gun (for a very short while years ago) but, never for daily "away from home" carry purposes out in the real world.

Years ago I thought it would be nice just to throw a Colt into the pants to go out to the garage or backyard & thought it would be a decent quick way to stay armed just doing daily incidental chores. It just did not work for me though. Maybe with a S&W J Frame it would have possibly worked better.

The ClipDraw did not seem to sit a Colt Combat Commander down in the pants quite far enough...and just did not feel secure enough to me for public carry. It also allowed the firearm to shift & I did not like that feeling at all.

Actualy right now , running out to check the grill as the coals burn in then setting back down here to type . Its secure enough for what i am doing , and allowing my holster to dry out a bit ( iwb picks up sweat ect on hot days ) .

Carrying as I do 16/7 - rig and gun always there as a team.

I do admit to, when back in UK years ago - doing that when going to investigate suspicious events on or near my property.

Not my method of choice however

Alright lowflyer, What is the Iraqi method of carry? I'd assume cocked and unlocked, but I'm not positive.

Never. I feel like a holster is another safety mechanism. Plus I don't want to blow off the jewels!!!!

Pretty often actually, though I usually stick more to shotguns than handguns, but holsters never have worked out that great for me for some reason.

Only occasionally from the truck to the house. Usually I use a holster though, just seems to much movement for me to trust carrying w/o a holster.

Lowflyer, too bad we can't carry like that around here, might deter a lot.

seriously though, I would settle for any tye of carry in the great state of Wisconsin.
