    Thinnest 9mm?

Is the kel Tec pf9 the thinnest 9mm available ? I don't have problem with size in barrel length but that thickness is what works on my body and concealing it. I know I'm going to be looking at single stack mag pistols. The glock 23 in a milt sparks summer 2 rig is starting to work on me. I think the perfect pistol for me would be if glock made a single stack 9mm in a 26 size. But there is no such puppy yet by glock. I've heard rumors of them doing it and I keep waiting around. At least winter is coming on and I can get into my owb holster under a jacket for a while. Years ago I used to carry j frames and yes the cylinder worked on me after 12 hours of iwb carry every day before I retired. After I get me a new setup I guess I will pass the 23 down to my daughter who likes it more then I do now.

Let me be the first to say the Kel Tec PF9 is the biggest pos I've ever owned or shot.

Check out the other single stack 9's.

For a thin single-stacker, my Kahr PM9 does everything I need it to do, although I don't carry it often. I NEVER carry my Kel-tec. Heck, I never fire the Kel-tec.

I like my Kahr CW9 for a single stack, I carry it when I am wearing lighter clothing. Conceals great, and I can still get my little finger on the grip.

I have yet to find a reliable "pocket 9" that fits my needs. I am praying the Nano is the end of my search but we shall see.

The thinnest pocketable 9mm at the moment is the Diamondback DB9. Here is a comparison with model of the Kahr PM9. I hope this helps. God Bless

PM9 is probably the thinnest of the acceptable small 9mm's. ;) I wouldn't use a DB9 for a target let alone self defense handgun.

Walther PPS is pretty darn thin and comfortable. I like mine ! IIRC it's .90", or somewhere in that neighborhood? I don't know much about Kahr's but I bet you could find one that would work. The Nano as previously mentioned may be a looker also.

    Rohrbaugh R-9

    Boberg XR-9

Neither is cheap, but they are small.
The Kahr PM-9 otherwise is your best bet.

I carry the Kahr cm9 and am very happy with it. The cm9 is a less costly version of the pm9.

The Kahr PM9 is very light and very slim. It also has one of the best DAO triggers out there.

I haven't found a comfortable AND reliable enough 9mm to pocket carry yet.
