Fall has fell.
Ahh, Fall is in the air. The leaves on the trees are exploding in glorious color.
The days are getting shorter, and snow is covering the Cascade mountains.
Fall has fell.
With the arrival of cooler temperatures, I can put away my small, reliable .38 snubby till next summer, and resume carrying my larger semi-auto major caliber pistols under my vast collection of jackets and vests.

I am odd I suppose. I carry the same thing year-round. Just an old fart resisting change ...

+1. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Kahr CW45 when working, DW 1911 when off work.

I feel your glee. I'll be movin' on up from my .380 to my 9mm. Can't wait for winter - might move up again to my .45 1911!!

Question: Is an EDC (XDS.45) and a BUG (Taurus 85UL) too much to carry?

I don't have a BUG or smaller alternative yet so I've been carrying the same thing regardless of season so far. It will allow me to alternate between my gun belt & my Miami Classic though. Yesterday, I threw my Miami Classic on and put my fleece jacket on over top of it before I went outside to lounge around in the back yard. It was cool.

Yeah, me too. Guess I'll switch from my compact 1911 to my full size 1911.
