New (to me) Anti Sign - Knives?

Lexington KY~ Took my wife to the Doctor last week and of course there was the No Firearms sign. And below it, a No Knife sign. I have never seen one of those before. Anyone else seen one?

That is comical or pathetic, not sure which. To answer your question; no, I've not seen that sign and only once seen the no gun sign in Delaware.

Never a knife specific sign, but I did seen a "no weapons" sign once that had a picture of a gun and a knife.

I would just tell the doc he better not have any knives (or scalpels) laying around then either. Time to find a new doc.

I said basically the same thing to my wife. Hell, he has knives, why can't we? I bet our record is cleaner than his is!

Seriously though, people are taking things to the extreme these days.

Next it will be No Nail Clippers and No Nail File signs. Proof positive that a college education makes you smart. I aagree, it's time to find another doctor.

I should have better stated this. This is a "mutual" sign placed on ALL doors at the facility in Lexington KY. Not just one Doctor. The site has probably 20+ entry doors leading to a hundred or more interior doors. However all are sporting the same sign.

The way I read KRS 237.110. Signs hold no legal force unless prohibited by state law. The most they can do is tell you to leave. I'd ignore the signs and carry.

You would think that a doctor would be a lot smarter and make one sign that simply says "No Crime Allowed" on the door. This way, it would cover everything.

Take a Magic Marker & piece of cardboard make a sign that sez:

No Baseball Bats or Sharpened Pencils.

and stick that up under their No Knives sign.

AND, there should be another sign under this one that says "accepting only patients who walked or rode a bicycle" because a motor vehicle is also considered a deadly weapon, doncha' know.
