    Work carry concerns...

Ok so i work at S.O.S., save our strays, an animal shelter. The job involves cleaning all the cages, feeding them, generally giving them attention and helping people with adoptions. It is a job where i sweat some what but not a lot.
I have a shoulder holster that i usually carry my bersa thunder 380 in, but im afraid my sweating will erode it.
I also own a IWB holster, also leather, but im afraid a dog will jump up and knock it loose.
I need help in deciding if i should carry or leave it in the car? Or keep it in my bag in my locker?
Or is there a holster option or gun choice i should make for this job.
I wear jeans and a t-shirt and if its cold i have a zip up hoodie.
    Thanks for all the help.

It's just a gun. Wipe it down when you get home. Done.

I'd lock in my car before I left it in any locker anywhere.

Do you wear cargo shorts or cargo pants? I keep my PM9 in the cargo pocket in a remora holster most of the day.

hmmm i like that smart carry. i have tried to do that but the bersa has a pretty crapy finish so i sweat a little and BOOM it had a bunch of rust on it and i end up spending a day oiling it up and scubbing it out. and the only gun i have other then that is a taurus pt101

A decent quality leather holster or hybrid like a crossbreed will keep your weapon secure until you need to draw it,if you have a $10 nylon one size fits most holster you need to get something that is formed to fit your gun

I have a Max Tuck and can't possibly imagine a dog knocking a gun out of it if worn correctly. I would guess the same is true of a Supertuck but have no hands-on experience with them. I MIGHT worry SLIGHTLY about simple single clip IWBs, just because I've had those gradually creep up on my belt through regular movement. (Specifically, this one: Don Hume Clip-On Inside The Waistband Holster (H715M-WC))

I use a N82 for my Windicator and one for my 24/7. Gun is held firmly, and I haven't had any real trouble with sweat. And, I'm a big guy, so there's usually plenty of sweat... unfortunately.

I am wearing my SuperTuck now. I live in a hot climate most of the year. I wear an A-shirt (undershirt) between the SuperTuck and my skin even if I wear a t-shirt as an outergarment. It does its job of absorbing sweat and keeping me comfortable. You may also want to consider trading in those bargain-basement guns, and getting a ccw with a better finish and better all-weather tolerance such as a Glock.

Take a look at the Tucker Gun Leather "Cover-up". I carry my CZ75 P-06 and P-01 in one. I opted for the J-hook belt clip. Never had a problem with the gun coming loose. It also allows you to adjust the cant to suit your needs.
