I called the DOJ and the woman on the phone assured me that mine was in the mail and it would arrive within the 45 day period. Apparently she isn't to great at counting. I asked her if they've been getting a lot of calls and she said yes, everyone is anxious to get theirs.

The good thing is my background check went through so I can go pick up my new Kahr cm9

If anybody is tired of the wait, Ill send you a permit, My permits are just as unconstitutional and irrelevent as the DOJ permit's, and Ill send it for the cost of postage!

I had a long day yesterday only to get home with no Permit. I was hoping to get mine tonight before I head out to see some family for Christmas. Unlikely it will be waiting in my mailbox...

    :(

Been working on making a place on my bike to lock my CC carry up now that I will be carrying in WI also. I ride much more than I drive my car. That helps kill the time

Did she ask your name or any other information to confirm your identity?

Don't do anything of questionable doubt to trigger a rejection. Getting into a contest over how to describe eye/hair color, or height, or what ever, is just plain reckless? Fill out the form the way the DOJ has written it. Have not you witnessed the pain these people are going thru here? Do you really want to add to this site, a new rejection story by challenging the system to the benefit of who? Why take the chance? BELIEVE THAT INSTRUCTOR !

I think he was full of bull but, for my own curiosity I thought I would ask, has anyone gotten a rejection letter for something as petty as that?

Address conflicts and multiple names would be the exception as I would expect that to need to be confirmed by DOJ.

I feel for the guy, everyone is getting theres except him! It will be the perfect Christmas gift for him. I hope he dressed warmly and took a thermos of soup while sitting by the mailbox.

Because if you're anything like me you're too busy to take time off during the year and then you realize your company will only carry over 'X' amount of days, so you have to use it or lose it.

I carry to protect myself and my loved ones from the BG's. Not to solve societies problems. That said: if more carried the deterrent would only have a positive overall effect on those problems.
