BTW, I'm a retired LTC, Field Artillery and my son is an SFC ROTC Instructor at Ripon College, Ripon, WI. He (an MP) and his family are headed to Germany next August for 3 years.

I sent CCW form 11-2-11 and got it back,with check, 3weeks later. I made a mistake, so corrected and put it back in mail next day. Check posted 12-1-11. Now I`m waiting but wishing I`d sent for a Utah permit. Not impressed with the doj.

Bigbang, go to the Wis. DOJ Web Site, click on the Concealed Carry (1911-A1) Icon, go to FRQ's and you will see what I'm saying. In short you can't!

thats the fastest iv seen! lucky man! im just going to wait and try and gotget about mine, becasue once they get on a good baseline at the office im sure they will have everything sorted out.

and wd this is my second deployment as a grunt and yes i know exactly what you mean, to where i have a whole noother apreciation for our country, standurd way of living, and way of life. not to mention even more love for my close freinds and family.

Utah is good in 31 states. FL coves some that Utah doesn't. But, you're right about UT vs WI. In fact, UT will not issue a CCW to a WI resident without a copy of the WI CCW attached to the UT CCW application. Just got my UT app back and a nice call from the Utah CCW office asking me to send a copy of my WI CCW and they would expedite it.

Day 45/49 has come and gone.... No decoder pin in the mailbox. D*** you Orphan Annie! I did give the doj a quick call and was told that a 5 week wait after the check is cashed is pretty standard but she suggests I wait another week/ week and a half and if I don't see it to give them a call... So much for 45 days I don't know how they're going to keep up with the current 21 day deadline if a 5 week wait period is standard after they have your $$$$

I know where your going with that, A few of us asked our local post office the question and it's pretty much the same answer mail takes 2 to 3 days to reach anywhere in the state.
