I hope it makes it soon for you, the wait is terrible but when it does make it to you then it just feels so worth it. As everyone here will agree be safe and enjoy when it comes.

Here's a question, what do i do now that it has been 45 days? Ive called DOJ and have talked to no one except a secretary whos transferred me to everyones voice mail the past 3 days...... i have heard nothing. At this point id be happy to have a denial letter, just so i can appeal. Any thoughts, ideas or answers?

It has been considered 45 day from when they receive it. That would be about 3 working days from when you mailed it. If you check has cleared the bank it seems most have been getting them 35-40 days after. But there are exceptions

Send a certified letter requesting that they start an investigation of your file. Also include a copy of the check. You may also forward a copy of the letter to your Representative requesting his assistance.

Dec, 29th. Have heard nothing today would be 48. If done from Nov.6th.
1.) Im a security guard, had to pass a state and federal back ground check.
2.) Purchased a hand gun after app. Was sent in again passed back round check
3.) In the Wisconsin Army National Guard. Thats a given.
4.) Sent in a DD214 from basic, sent in firearms training from army. Sent in copy of hunters safety.
5.) Proof of address, and even went to DOT to confirm address.
This is a no brainer..... run it clear it. I dont see why i havent heard a thing. And i cant find anything out about it...
