They have people running around now denying it but I have sat in the meetings. I have to many family members that are in the teachers union and the make it clear that will be on the list with in the next 24 months.
If you been paying attention you would have seen the test bills they been floating for reaction. They are watching the numbers of CC permits issued closely. Anything less they 300K issue the will move on repeal right away over that they will take the back door to repeal it count on it.

Smitty where are you finding this? Can you steer me/us to any sites? I would like to get on top of this ASAP?

I am a Union member and my union is helping fund it. To family members that are teachers are working their tail so ff on it.
your not going to get on top of it they have planned out their response to question and how they will move. Plans are based on the numbers issued and what time frame.
One plan is to slowly add reasonable restriction, stuff "nobody would disagree with" then keep adding them till no one can carry anywhere.

This is all for a reason. Enforcing the 1000 foot rule even for CC they know that in most major cities you always near a school zone.
They held it off for 20 years they are not happy it got by them.

What ever happened to teachers? Why can't they confine their expertise to reading, writing and arithmetic. Just who in the hell do they think they are? This socialist agenda has got to stop! Walkers got my vote.

I do not believe they take just a DD214.

I've been reading this thread for a long time and want to thank all of you for being so helpful and keeping me smiling through this long wait because I just got a call from my brother and my permit is finally here:king: :danceban:

I'll fill you guys in with the rest of the info tomorrow going out to celebrate right now!!!
To everybody who does not have their permit yet just stay patient its on the way and to those who have it congrats.
Oh yeah I am also urging all family and friends to aleast apply even if they don't want to carry a gun and tell them get a taser because we need alot more people and support I just got the right and I'm not even close to being ready to lose it.:aargh4::aargh4: YEEEEAAAAHHHHHHHHH:congrats:
