Taking Aim: The New Ladies Night Out
Elaine Boldt loves her job, but when she's not armed with food at Dylon's Restaurant, she's relaxing on the shooting range. "I just love taking care of people and serving them.'
“Even if they may come from a stressful day at work, when they leave here they are relaxed,” said Boldt. Boldt is a member of Girls with Guns, a no-fee group for women who share a passion for what they call the shooting sport.

I mailed mine in from Appleton with a money order on 2/13. Two days later I saw that someone on this forum mentioned many were getting denied for their license not matching so I fixed mine online (2/15). I hope I didn't screw myself.
money order hasn't been cashed yet
no word from DOJ

Check cashed on 2/23. Mailed on a Saturday the 18th. The following Monday was Presidents Day. I'd say they did pretty good so far!

Wow, now that is quick. Congratulations. I hope this doesn't mean the applications are slowing down. We need hundreds of thousands to keep the antis pinned down in their fox holes.

I've had a number of my students coming back to me within a week with their new permit wanting to continue their training. I think actually having the gun on your hip causes you to really think about how ready (or not) you really are if you needed it.
