    7 or 8 days to receive CCW

    I wasn't obsessive about figuring out the time so I just sent through postal mail. I think it took about 7 or 8 days (with weekend in there). I received it in the mail two days ago, but the check hasnt been cashed.

    Quite honestly I thought it would be delayed or possibly denied. My address on my check didnt match, and I also have an old issue that with the California Dept. of Justice that causes major delays when buying a gun. Two handguns have taken a month to clear, and rifles usually run out the clock on the 72 hours and I buy them without the check coming back.

    Wow I wish MI was as quick as WI. When I turned in my application was told 3-4 months! So a 3 week wait sounds real nice.

    I got my permit in less than 2 weeks in Wisconsin. I mailed it in on 1/17 and I had the card in hand on 1/25. The check took a while to clear though.

    Sent in my application on Monday 2/11, right after I got my temporary WI DL; application was sent through the WI DMV mailbox as well.

    Hoping to get mine soon! I have a valid WA CPL so it would be interesting to see how reciprocity works out.

    EDITED to add: nevermind, just checked my mail and it's here! That was...5 working days, not counting the day the application was mailed, the weekend, and President's day on 2/18. Man they are QUICK! Mine is 164###.

    EDIT #2: check just cleared this morning.

    Applied/mailed on Monday, 2/11, received in the mail om Wednesday, 2/20! Good to go :) #164xxx

    My application got picked up from my mailbox on Tuesday the 19th and I had my permit in my hand yesterday (Wednesday the 27th). Figuring a day there, a day back, and the weekend in there - that's 4 days processing time!
